Originally from Dallas, Texas, Dr. Stewart is the youngest of nine siblings — the only boy with eight sisters.

Growing up, Dr. Stewart was an athletic basketball player, having earned a basketball scholarship to Arkansas State University, where he was a standout athlete and student. He pursued biology and graduated with a degree, becoming the first person in his family to graduate from college.

In his pursuit of medicine, Dr. Stewart attended Ross University School of Medicine, graduating with honors. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Stewart completed his four-year residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY, beginning his OB/GYN career at NYU School of Medicine and NYU Medical Center for the duration of four years.

Then in 2017, Dr. Stewart relocated to Lake Charles, Louisiana and continued his successful career, performing countless numbers of obstetrical and gynecological surgeries.

​

In 2022, Dr. Stewart, in an effort to expand his abilities to help serve his female patients and broader community, applied and was accepted to an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery General Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship, where he relocated to Commerce, Georgia, a suburb outside of Atlanta, where he was trained by the late great Lionel Meadows. With the tragic passing of Dr. Meadows, Dr. Stewart himself completed the remainder of his fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Kevin Duplechain in Lafayette, Louisiana, a cosmetic surgeon of the body and face. He successfully completed his fellowship in July of 2024, performing over 400 cosmetic surgery procedures.

In May of 2024, Dr. Stewart completed the first of his board certifications, passing his written board examination, and will be taking his oral board examination in September 2025 for board certification by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Stewart is now one of a select few in the United States to be board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Cosmetic Surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and children and embraces working out, jazz, traveling, and watching history documentaries.
